WAVE church

2nd Sunday of the month from 4.00PM
Methodist Church, N10 1PP

A mixed ability church group where individuals with and without learning disabilities come to worship, with singing, Makaton signing and creative teaching.

 

A normal week

We’d love to see you at any of these regular events. There’s no need to book.

Monday

6pm-8pm, Monday night meal. Drop in for food and friendship, in the Church Centre, enter through the bookshop.

Tuesday

11am-1pm, Community Café, with some fun and a short thought for the day. In the main church building.

Wednesday

9.30am -11am, Bumps and Babes, for parents/carers of babies to meet other parents who are in the same phase of life, for time to chat, sing and hear a short thought for the day. In the Church Centre, enter through the bookshop.

2.30pm-3.30pm TeaTime, for seniors and those retired to enjoy time together, sharing afternoon tea, entertainment, refreshments and a chance to make friends. In the Church Centre, enter through the bookshop.

Friday

Saturday

10am-11.30am, Challenge Group. A playgroup for families with babies and children with additional needs, to enjoy refreshments and meet others on the same journey. In the Church Centre, enter through the bookshop.

9.30am-12.noon Free legal advice to those who cannot afford access to justice, empowering people to understand their legal rights, solving legal problems and providing general advice. Enter through the bookshop.

By Car

There is limited free street parking within a five minute walk of the church building 🚗

There are also some paid street parking bays along the high street as well as a Pay and Display car park.

By Public Transport

The 134, 43, 234 and 102 bus routes all stop directly outside the church building. Each of these connect to local tube stations 20 minutes from Central London: Highgate (Northern Line), East Finchley (Northern Line), Bounds Green (Piccadilly Line).

The 299, 144 and W7 buses all stop 5 minutes away at the Muswell Hill bus station and connect to: Hornsey (National Rail), Finsbury Park (National Rail, Victoria Line, Piccadilly Line) 🚂
