Planting

London is a fast-moving and growing city, and we love it here. Like most Christians, we long to reach many more people in our great city, and to shape our culture for the good. To do that we need more - many more - churches, which can speak and share and serve with local flavours. Over the years we have supported many other churches and started a new one, and that’s the direction we’re going to keep walking in. Where and when is still being shaped, but we’re not going to stop sharing the best news in the universe.

Roof update

After a century standing on one of London’s highest points, our church roof needs major work. Every slate on both side roofs needs replacing, the stonework made good, guttering updated, and insulating material put in place. Then we can look forward to continuing to host the variety of events that make Muswell Hill so enjoyable, in the dry, for many years to come.

Phase One was completed during 2020, on the south side of the building, and Phase Two was completed in 2022, and we’re grateful to God for the generous donations and hard-working team that made this possible.

At some stage in the next few years we shall need to complete the project, by working on the side chapel, and by resealing the bookshop entrance. Water still comes down and needs to find a way out!
